Cardiff Council will integrate their smart bin sensors with Collective
Cardiff Council are adding smart bin sensors to their Collective system, helping to make the city cleaner whilst reducing costs and carbon emissions.
Over 500 Enevo sensors have been deployed to litter bins across the city and will change the way they are managed in Cardiff. Each sensor monitors the contents of the bin and requests emptying electronically only when it is needed.
Collective integrates with Enevo’s platform and assigns the job to the most suitable crew and continually optimises their route so they work safely and efficiently. Crews update their work on tablet devices and can report on any other problems they find with photographs.
