Supporting Men’s Mental Health
Andy’s Man Club is a remarkable organisation dedicated to providing vital mental health support specifically for men. They create safe spaces where men can openly talk about their struggles and find support from one another.
This cause holds a personal connection for many at Bartec Municipal Technologies. We tragically lost our colleague Ben a few years ago, highlighting the reality that some individuals are incredibly adept at masking their inner battles. Suicide is a harsh reality, not only being the leading cause of death in men under 50 but also a growing concern.
A Cause We Care About
Mental health struggles are prevalent within the demographic Bartec serves. Recognising this, we believe we can make a significant contribution to Andy’s Man Club and the invaluable work they do.
How You Can Get Involved
Throughout 2025, we’ll be actively fundraising and raising awareness for Andy’s Man Club through various initiatives. This includes:
- Events and activities at BUG in March.
- Innovative functions within our software and services promoting Andy’s Man Club, and crew wellbeing in general.
- Social value-driven initiatives for customers that give back.
- Classic fundraising activities – details coming soon!
