South Ayrshire, on the west coast of Scotland, is the latest UK local authority to improve waste and recycling services with software from Bartec Municipal Technologies.
They will shortly launch a new garden waste subscription scheme where residents will be able to choose to opt-in and have the number of bins they need. The Collective Resident’s Portal will give residents an online sign-up facility, integrated with collection calendar and live updates when each collection is completed.
With a very tight timescale, Bartec were chosen for their ability to deliver a complete service, including recurring payments, automated permit stickers and real-time service management in just 8 weeks!
