Thanet are the latest UK council to opt for Collective Portal to enhance their waste and recycling service.
Collective Portal will give Thanet residents online access to their waste and recycling collections, including garden waste, missed bins and other commonly used services.
Garden waste will be the first service available online. Residents will have an online collection calendar and be able to subscribe and renew their services directly, including secure online payments.
Collective Portal is a single-source solution which does not require any integration with CRM systems or the council’s website. It can be implemented quickly and at a much lower cost than traditional multi-vendor systems. Key business rules and service parameters are maintained through the admin control panel with zero code.
Fareham Borough Council were the first to implement Collective Portal, with their system going fully live on 1st September 2021 (read more).
