Manage your waste collection operations safely with Collective, offering your operators immediate updates of risk assessment guidance on the ground. Crews will have access to clear safety information, on-screen, for every street and collection point on their entire route, to enhance efficiency and limit risk. Collection route information is updated instantly, providing rapid feedback and guidance that can optimise performance and deliver risk mitigation in real time.
Collective keeps a record of the complete history of risk assessment activity on each collection street, ensuring you remain up to date and can make consistent improvements to safety and performance across your entire refuse collection operation.
Collective software gives clear and tailored instructions for your crew’s entire route. Every street-level risk assessment provides intel on how operators should conduct collection on that street. Select the best collection style that operators should work to according to safe practise.
The default option is a single-sided collection, where the crew pass the street once in each direction and collect waste without crossing the road. However, the software also allows for double-sided collections, or to designate a street for ‘reverse in, drive out loading’ (RIDOL) as required. You can highlight specific streets as ‘do not enter’ where it is unsafe or impractical for the vehicle to drive in.
Every street is displayed within the software, providing the driver with clear instructions before they enter a street that may pose a risk or challenge.
Safer route designs and improved collection logistics driven by real-world data from daily operations. Collective continually updates your service model to ensure routes are optimised to minimise and mitigate risks.
Routes remain balanced, safe and productive through automated models that drive optimisation.
Knowing your crews are following best practice is essential to keeping them safe. However, traditional in-person inspections are labour-intensive and unlikely to show the real situation. This is where Collective’s ability to integrate with external software shines.
Collective and SafeActive integrate seamlessly so you have a risk-based system to monitor all crews and identify the strengths and weaknesses in your working practices. Whether you are monitoring crews in-person or via on-board video, SafeActive gives you a full history of individual and team safety compliance.
