Kate has been working in the role of Chief Operating Officer since January 2025. She started her career at Bartec Municipal Technologies in 2007 as a telemarketer, calling local authorities to talk to them about some new, exciting technology to track vehicles and record information. We had two customers at that time, both of which are still strong users of the system!
Over the years she has worked in various roles including trainer, project manager, and customer success manager, as well as heading up the projects team. She has been involved in dozens of implementations including commercial, clinical and domestic waste, street cleansing and integrations and has in depth knowledge of the waste industry as well as technical understanding of system capabilities.
In her current role Kate oversees delivery and implementation, customer support and professional services. She is also involved in product design and pre-sales. She is passionate about helping local authorities get the most out of their systems, and helping with best practise and continual improvement.
