Meg Blackburn

Head of Finance and Administration

Meg joined Bartec in 2022 as a Sales Administrator, her role quickly expanded to include internal accounting and wider administrative responsibilities such as HR, carbon reporting, and social value. As Bartec has grown, these functions have developed into a dedicated administration department, which Meg now leads as Head of Finance & Administration.

Alongside her role, Meg is currently studying ACCA – Applied Skills, building on the accounting experience gained through her career and her completed AAT studies. She is also carbon literate and has invested significant time developing her knowledge in this area to support Bartec’s journey toward Net Zero. Her commitment to learning extends beyond the workplace too — she is a qualified personal trainer and applies this knowledge to her own fitness pursuits. Always on the move, if she’s not in the gym, if you can’t find her in the gym outside of work she is probably getting lost up a hill or tracking down the best local dessert options.

For customers, Meg is the primary point of contact for invoicing, subscriptions, and account queries. Internally, she supports both sales and purchasing processes, as well as carbon reduction, social value, and payroll.
