Ryan leads the Professional Services department at Bartec, specialising in Route Optimisation, service design, and Digital Service Transformation projects. He works closely with local authority customers to maximise resources, improve service capacity, reduce costs, and lower carbon emissions across municipal services, while overseeing consultancy, data, and service improvement projects across the business.
With a background in waste operations and extensive experience delivering operational change within local government services, Ryan brings a practical understanding of frontline challenges and how technology can solve them. He is particularly passionate about designing future-ready service models that help councils prepare for upcoming legislative changes such as LGR, Simpler Recycling, Digital Waste tracking and DRS schemes. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys keeping up to date with emerging technology and finding smarter ways to solve complex problems, along with outdoor cycling in the summer months & weightlifting at the gym.
