Steve Parker is our newest recruit to the Sales Team, having joined as Sales Manager for the ‘North’ of the UK in December 2023.
Having been in the waste industry for over 18 years, Steve brings a wealth of experience in sales and customer relationship management.
After leaving Durham University, he started his career in waste with Wybone in 2006 and held various positions, including Office Manager, Regional Sales Executive for the North of England and Scotland and, finally, Sales Manager for England and Wales. Wybone are a UK manufacturer of internal and external litter/recycling bins, as well as other street furniture such as benches and flower planters, with their main customer base being Local Authorities.
Steve spent nearly 9 years at Wybone, and then went on to work for Egbert Taylor in 2015, a well-known UK waste management company established in 1962.
Following 4 years at Taylor, Steve embarked on a new challenge with Leafield Environmental in 2019. Covering almost from Birmingham to the top of Scotland, he focused on driving sales across their environmental (litter/recycling bins) and highways (bollards/active travel products) divisions.
Steve believes strongly in dealing with queries as quickly and effectively as possible in order to gain confidence from his clients. This is just one of the reasons why he has so many long-standing client relationships within the waste management sector.
