Cheshire West and Chester to use Collective and FleetRoute

Cheshire West and Chester Council choose Collective and FleetRoute

Cheshire West and Chester Council have today awarded Bartec Municipal Technologies a combined contract for route optimisation and service management.

The council operates one of the largest waste fleets in the UK and returned to an in-house service in 2020. Under the new contract, Bartec Municipal Technologies will supply its Collective and FleetRoute systems including fitting in-cab computers to the front-line service vehicles.

The contract also includes integration of onboard vehicle video to enable the council to continually improve and monitor the safety of workers and the public.
